The Story Behind Delta T NC

It started with one man, one truck, and a promise to his grandmother.

Keith Evans

Owner & Lead Technician

Keith Evans started Delta T NC after working for the “big guys” and seeing how customers were treated. He watched salesmen push $15,000 systems on folks who only needed a $200 capacitor replacement. He watched honest people get talked into financing plans they couldn’t afford.

He decided there had to be a better way.

So he bought a used truck, stocked it with parts, and started knocking on doors in Wake Forest. His pitch was simple: “I’ll tell you exactly what’s wrong, show you the part, and fix it for a fair price. No games. No gimmicks.”

Fifteen years later, that same truck has been replaced by a fleet. But the promise hasn’t changed.

"My grandma is watching me — and I have no choice, ma'am. I have to be fair and honest. She'll come back and get me."

— Keith Evans, on why he refuses to upsell or charge unfair prices

That's not just a saying. That's how we operate. Every technician at Delta T NC is trained to diagnose honestly, quote transparently, and fix only what needs fixing. We don't work on commission. We don't have sales quotas. We have one job: take care of your family's comfort like it's our own.

How We Do Business

No Salesmen, Ever

Only certified technicians quote your job. No one works on commission. No one gets paid to upsell you.

Show, Don't Tell

We show you the broken part before we replace it. We explain what happened and why. You decide what to do.

Fair Pricing, Always

We charge what's fair — not what the market will bear. If a $200 fix solves your problem, that's what we recommend.
